Back 2 Normal 8 *Attendance*

We are getting close to 2007 and another Back 2 Normal Meet! http://www.club3g.com/forum/images/smilies/woot.gif

We had an awesome time at B2N7 and the pictures showed it. Although we had a few new faces that made this their 1st Normal, we saw a decline in the amount of members from the previous years. We have had this every Memorial Day weekend since I joined, but this year we decided to spice things up a bit.

So this year we are moving B2N8 from Memorial Day weekend, to Mitsubishi's MOD Day on September 7-9th weekend. Everything will still be the same, we will still have our nightly trips to Gredy's for Go Karts and not to mention our weekend of drunken fun and hanging out with our fellow C3G friends. http://www.club3g.com/forum/images/smilies/drunk.gif http://www.club3g.com/forum/images/smilies/woot.gif http://www.club3g.com/forum/images/smilies/hug3.gif

Below is a section I will keep updating as I hear things from the factory and as time gets closer I will be putting up the Hotel thread and the Convoy threads will start. Not to mention the list for those who will be attending. ;)

Thank you for the update. We're just starting to get things rolling for our event. I forwarded your e-mail to Dave and asked him to send you a list of our vendors so far and to keep you in the loop.

We're going on summer shutdown this Friday and won't be back to full production until July 9. So, once we get back we will be in full swing for the event. I'll keep you up to date with the happenings. We're planning on having a dyno shootout. As soon as everything is finalized (assuming it will be) I'll send you the flyer. . Posted: 6-20-07

B2N and FACTORYMOD07 were both great events in the past and will be a HUGE event together. my contact at MMNA R&D (The MOD Squad) also told me that FACTORYMOD07 is in september but not to release a date until it is finalized, as i am organizing the galant group for MOD07, CA, but it definitely is going to be in september.

Yea, my contact at the Normal, IL plant has ours on Sept 8, so we are going to make the weekend out of it, just like B2N...Hence B2N8. :D

They used to have it at the Ks merchandice parking but now they have it at "The shoppes at College Hills" right outside of Von Maur...... which is like a 2 minute walk from your the Days Inn where everyone is staying !!!!


The show runs from 5-9, and if we get there about 4:30 or so we can get a good chunk of the parking lot and stunt on everyone DSM style.

If you want to fly to a tiny airport, Quincy, IL is 3hrs from Normal. Decatur is about 1hr, Springfield is about an hour as well. But the biggest airport and probably cheapest tickets are either Chicago or St Louis.

It is a 7 hr drive from where I live to Normal. I sure hope it isn't 5 hrs from Chicago. :lol:

Were actually in the middle of everything, as far as interstates go. And we do have an airport that has direct flights to and from Vegas (Central Illinois Regional Airport). We are about 2 1/2 hours from Chicago and St. Louis.
