AC Gauge Panel Bulb Replacement

Hey Guys,

I don't usually ask too many questions about modding my 8G but I have a question. I just replaced my gauge stock bulbs with Hyperwhite LED bulbs and they look sick. They are a purple color, look just like indiglo gauges.

I'm trying to find out the bulb part number now for the bulbs in the AC Gauge pod. Someone told me 73? Does that sound right?

I know LEDs might not work behind there because the light shines straight instead of out the sides, but they seemed to work perfect on my speedo gauges.

Personally I wouldn't mess with your HVAC controls. But hey if you want to you can contact PinoyESV6 he has done many a conversion on the HVAC controls.

Well, I've taken them out before, no problems. It was just a matter of taking off the two cables. I'm just trying to find out what type of bulbs are behind there.
