Anyone ever put them on an early model 8G? Did the big fat door trim get in the way? Just curious. Planning ahead.

only the GTZ and LS had the door cladding; ES never had it and DE never had it.

i have the newer style sides on my gtz no problem other then the regular required fitment

to my knowledge, the sides were not updated with the 8g update on the usdm models so the sides on a 99-01 would be the same as the ones from a 02-03

the body cladding is what they are calling the "sides" i think.
