SRS Light is on

Ok today my srs light came on. Any sugestions on why that light came on? SRS is Safty Restraint System right?
Air bags.. What do i need to be awar of? Thanks for the help.

supplementary restraint system.

take it to the dealer. they are the only ones qualified to diagnose and repair your srs unit.
odds are repair costs will be prohibitivly expensive,

but you still need to at least know what the problem is,


we are potentionally talking life and death here.

I have had that light on for years and i dont recommend ignoring it like i do.
It is COMPLETELY NOT SAFE.
And yes, the repairs are going to be expensive...
