Short question. I want to replace factory head unit with Pioneer DEH-P690UB in my 01 GTZ. If i get this MITAH adapter: http://tinyurl.com/2yhzvd do I need any other wire harness ? I want to keep using factory amp and speakers. Thanks in advance.

that harness looks like it is for a cd changer so no that one wouldnt work.....you need this

and i believe that this is all you need maybee some speaker wire to connect to the factory amp as an upgrade

you are wrong for sure... GTZ has Infinity sound system with amp so I need some adapter with RCA connectors going to preamp output from aftermarket radio but I'm not sure if this MITAH adapter has wires for power also. On car domain I found the same adapter for 01 GTZ http://www.cardomain.com/item/PERMITAH but here: http://tinyurl.com/29fqty they say that I also need wire harness BHA7001

I have the mitah and it comes with everything that you need to upgrade the radio.. you don't need any other wires..

the mitah (http://cgi.ebay.com/PERIPHERAL-MITAH-CD-PLAYER-ADAPTOR-MITSUBISHI-INFINITY_W0QQitemZ200115624305QQihZ010QQcategoryZ6 0208QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) adaptor you need because it will give you sound.

the wiring harness (http://www.cardomain.com/item/SCOMI02B) you don't need. but i suggest you get it because it will give you a cleaner install and removal when you go to give your radio some power. plus when wiring the wiring harness, there shouldn't be any questions on which wires connect to what since everything is color coded between the wiring harness and the radio harness.
