i recently got H4 high/low beam HID's and i installed them myself. For some reason, my high beams arnt working. does anyone know what the problem might be. the wires and everything are grounded rite, the low beam works, its just the high beam that dosnt work.

it only had 1 halogen bulb, reasoning me getting HID hi/lo beams.

the reason you are not getting high beam because with that unit, there isnt a need for high beam, the hid light is bright enough. mine is the same way.

ya, its barely noticeable. have you actually had someone in the car high beam and you look on the outside. if you wired everything correctly, it should work properly

disconnect the low beam wire and see if the brights still come on.

because from what i understand, from the factory, when the high beams are on, on the 8g, the low beams shut down in order to save the factory h4 bulb from blowing up

I believe the Hi/low kits just change the position of the bulb? I saw those kits when I was shopping around and just got the single beam kit.
