I got a ride in that car. 8) ridiculous fast!

I think that run was at RSD's (Real Street Drags) this past weekend at GLD's (Great Lakes Dragway)

either way, that shit is superfly fast!

AMS is a top notch shop! Ivan's KA-T 240 is also hella fast... all the SR guys wants to keep up with him, but they can't.

that's why after school and I have settled down, I'm buying an EVO and TRY to get close to that one.

wayyy more than 50K spent into that car... the head alone costs like 4K.

Well, there is a guy in england who builds evos and he has a 2-door conversion running 9's. He spent more than 100k on the evolution, so I'm guessing AMS has spent a lot more than $100,000 to get those kind of numbers

Yeah your thinking of Norris Designs. You cant put a price on innovation and engineering. AMS has been at the forefront of EVO tuning since day one. That car has been thru more motors than my car (thats ALOT). They have done 2.0's, 2.3's 2.4's 2.1's etc in that car to find the best engine and turbo combo. Its a constantly Evolving car, no pun intended. Just think about it, 2 years ago, a GT35R was a BIG turbo for the EVO, now its the benchmark. Back then, you were a lunatic drag racer for running that turbo, now guys use that for daily driving. AMS is up to using a GT45R. Thats a $2,500 turbo with all the options, thats just the cost of the turbo by itself. Give them another 2 years and that car will be running 7's just like sheps car.
