Alright, I'm having some problems with my car ever since I removed my mass air flow sensor to put in the short ram intake into my car. Now, I've read the post and seen the pics on the TGC board, and have noticed this custom fitting billet which attachs onto the sensor, but my question is this, where do you find it?.........and how much do they run? Reply ASAP!!!

you get it from injen. its used in the intakes for the 3g eclipse and the galants. the bolt pattern on the newer mitsu mas's are the same so it should fit urs...just rmember u are looking for it as a replacement part for ur 8g or 3g something like that. it got damamged cuz of ur own fault. all u need is a part number and thats all they will give u. then u go to ur injen dealer and order from there

yah ur car will most likey run bad w/o the mas. mine ran like crap untill it warmed up...once it was warm it ran just fine and dandy https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif

but that "custom billet" thing you speak of is a mas adapter...same thing pinoy was talking about. it lookslike this:

i got mine from procarparts.com but im not sure if they have anymore.

Heres ('http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1874510614') one on eBay with a filter for $22

the injen one is really nice And shiny. also the opening is like 2.5 or 3 inches or something opposed to the 5 inches of regular mas adaptors

Why in the world would you run your EFI without the MAS?! (acronyms are cool)

If your engine has no idea how much air it is intaking then ya, it's gonna run like crap..

Ebay is definately a good spot to get an adapter and filter for cheap, plus you can use that adapter later on if you wanna go CAI.
