since Mike (02xtype) wont be making mod my galant stepped up to the plate for Euromotive who made a harness bar custom to fit mikes 02'. there going for about $350. Bolts directly up. drilling is required through plastic b pillar to access the threads behind it. (harness' not included, hardware is included)

the guy who represents the company will have a few with him @ mod in cypress the 14th. they come flat black with a bit of a gloss to it. to have id power coated will be extra.

you got turbo?!?! why you need that?

racing seats & seatbelts & it give sthe car more rigidity so it feels more flatter during corning.

Where is that thing bolting to on the bottom? Is the only hole that needs to be drilled the upper one in the B pillar?

thebirdman13
07-15-2007, 06:23 PM
looks like it might go with the lower seatbelt bolt

o2xtype

On the bottom it does bolt to the stock seat belt hole and as far as the b pillar it bolts to a stock bolt hole that is behind the pillar that holds a bracket in place.

as for back seat issues, my buddy, 5'10, sat comfortably from vegas up to cypress and back. he said it was like a roller coaster because of the harness bar. no complaints.

any feedback from the mod people? it got alot of attention.

thats pretty cool but the only bad side is if you stop short and have people in the back seat theres a good chance of them smacking their teeth on it. But oh well Im still interested, how do I get in touch with them that link doesnt work

krispy03
07-16-2007, 08:37 PM

Yeah get the scoop on this. I tried calling these clowns about 3 months ago to get that bar, I left at least 10 messages and not once did I get a call back. Furthermore, not once did an employee ever answer the phone, it always went to the answering machine on the first ring. I understand its a small business, but shit, there is no excuse for just sucking at what you do for a living.

i talked to Brian and he said he would be willing to do a group buy on the bar. i could only talk him down $50 so the price would be $300 plus s/h and there are five bars as of right now ready to go but there is more being made. sorry i couldn't talk him more down then that but i will keep trying.

Has there been a price drop for these?

I suspect the mounting of the bar, it would be much better as a weld in. Actually I might think about buying one and having it welded in.

They are available, just hit me up by e-mail if your interested in getting a bar. I will personally check on how many are available after we get Matt his i believe there where 4 in total. They are $350 each and come in a flat black color.

is there some reason my post was deleted?

i simply stated my interest in getting one but i was a little weary about ordering one because of the fact Vegasmatt ordered a bar and still hasn't received it

boostzealot

its because you were speaking your mind brandon beware (rollseyes, you probably know)

VegasMatt

I dont think that is why his post was deleted, we are still making changes to vbulletin and sometimes some posts get deleted by accident.

Matts bar is at the shop its just hard to get this guy when hes at his shop cause he puts in his own hours, im sure Matt can confirm that. I have seen his bar there and so has Krispy. It took a long time for me and matt to get our bars cause we where the first two to get the bar started. I due apoligize to Matt for how long its taking to get his bar but everyone has different schedules and its hard to get everyone at one place.

Its cool Mike, when you get your graphics put on just grab mine. I dont need him to install mine since I may have it welded to the body instead of bolted.

02-15-2008, 04:57 PM
