Cleared tailights?

has anyone done it, if so easy or hard. Or would i have to buy them.

what do you mean by clear?

by taking off the red part

i think it will be the same process as the headlight. you will need a heat gun to pull the taillight apart and take out the red plastic. i never done this so dont quote me on it.

Do a search, someone here has done it already and what not. Cant remember who but i remember seeing pics. 7G and 8G alike.

I think someone here had clear jdm tail lights but I'm not sure.

I tried clearing mine. I don't think it's possible the way it's setup. I got JDM aftermarket cleartails from a guy in Taiwan through TGC member af200sx/se-r AKA www.rapidcustoms.com .

He might not respond right away if you contact him, since I think he's deployed in Iraq atm. But he should still be able to hook ya up from there.

And you'll have to splice some wires to get it connected (uses an extra bulb).

you could also clear out the 02-03 tails by taking the mesh out of clear part of the tails. i believe u just reach in there and pull the mesh out.
