"Well 3 of us from the local boards decided to check out a local hot spot.

Needless to say, there were some nice cars there, and A LOT of rice lol.

I learned that bouncing off the rev limiter multiple times is V-tac cool there... :P

Anyways, all the shots were from chask :D

Red 99 Vr4 is me. Silver car is Chask, and the green car is digimandan.

Their cars are converted FWD TT's :D

i didnt know they made the 3000gt in 99. what year did they stop making them?

In the US, it was 99 :P

They actually kept going to 01 in JDM land.

those are some nice cars man.. but your can is not a true VR-4 right? not calling you out or anything but im just curious.

Galants weren't the only cars to come with a VR-4 Badge ;)

3000gt Vr-4's come stock with a 3.0L twin-turbo v6 with all wheel drive, and all wheel steering, and is a 6-speed in this case.

The other cars in the pictures are actually converted N\A's to FWD Twin turbos.

i know that the galant is not the only car that came with the vr-4 badge but i never seen a true 3000gt vr4 before. i see a bunch of riced out 3000gt around my neighborhood but thats about it.

99 was the last year in the US, one of the most rare years with only 287, 99 VR-4's produced. My car is #184, and im pretty damn proud of it.
