u guys prolly know this mod but just wanted to make sure....u need to have a stock intake on ur g....and all u do is unclip the clips of the filter and flip the clips over so the cover doesnt close....then take a test drive and you will feel the difference....i took it to my dads friends dyno and it deff added more hp....idk if u guys knew this or not just wanted to make sure....when u clip the clips off...rev up the engine...the button is rite in back of the engine...just push it down and you will hear the difference....hopefully this helped....tell me if it works for u....

Um....Sorry but this is not healthy for you car. You take the clips off, the filter can move about, meaning your engine will be sucking in dirty air. Second, with that being the method to work, why wouldn't you just take the cover off completely and zip tie the filter down...oh yeah, because what you are doing isn't healthy for your car, gotcha. I would also like to say that you are full of ca-ca when you state you got 6 extra horses from this "mod". I want to see the dyno sheet before and after this was done.

can u explain how?

my engine is like me and only breathes in the air that it needs. how does removing the top of the airbox make the engine receive more air? the only way i can see my engine getting more air than it needs is through forced induction and i don't see a turbo, or a supercharger or even like a walmart fan placed next to the filter.

i just don't get it. i tried that years ago and my car didn't get more air.

4 * m6 *30mm bolts with nylock nuts

.:: Tools for the job ::.
#2 Phillps head screw driver
#1 Flathead screw driver
8,10,12 mm spanners
metal file

1/2 hour to do the job.
a) remove old factory air intake system
b) carefully remove your air sencer unit (undo from pipe to motor)
note dont throw it away as you need this part to attach your air filter adaptor.
c) fit adaptor to air sencer unit
you may need to file it to make it a better fit, make it a tight fit.
d) bolt air filter adaptor to air sencer unit. using m6*30mm blots using the nylocks, this just stops the nuts from ever coming off by using nylock nuts.
e) Fit cone filter on the air filter adaptor and tighten the clamp ring.

Clean up put your tools away - put the old factory intake on ebay to recover some costs.

Take it for a drive and feel the power :)
