JDM Headlights. 2 piece vs 1 piece *Added TSX projector pics

I want to get some opinions on which are better.
Im going to be making some projectors soon, should I go with the 2 piece JDMs or the 1 piece?

I like the thought of having glass headlights.

i think the jdm heads would be an easier fit for the projectors. you don't have to make new brackets, just mold em. my 0.02

I like one piece better cause sometimes the two piece dont align so well

plastic is jdm
glass is world spec.

just cause it's jdm doesn't mean its better.

just means its a different market, with different laws, and/or trends in design and style.

glass is superior in optical clarity, but plastic is more resistant to breakage from impact. although the glass is tempered and very strong, it can still break easier than poly.

its a tossup.
but on the 7g.. its no contest. plastic just doesn't have the light output/ clarity that glass allows.

Yeah, I was thinking the glass ones looked a lot clearer and therefore better for HID.

Do 2pc really fits like ass? I really like the amber turnsignal look.

well eiher will look good, i personally think the 1 piece is a little cleaner because there is no seperation at the corner and it is easier to fit correctly but thats just me...you can clear the amber marker if you wish on the 1 piece as well (if thats your motive) when you have them apart awaiting the retrofit

as far as glass it will look better and the visual output will be better but i am not aware if there are any glass 1 piece and what areas come available with glass 2 piece but they are pretty rare in thier own respect

Well I want the amber. Looks alot better to me. But if it fits like butt then might as well stay with the 1pc.

I remember someone had it but the corners are sticking out more than the headlights.

same here, i love the amber look, i don't know why they like clearing the corners, but everyone have their own taste!
