great for a 7g, not for an 8g, the 5spd u want is from an 00-04 Eclipse

well that sucks, he didn't have any newer eclipses, my next thing is to check and see if he has any civics i can get a lip off of. Will the lip cover the fuked up part of my bumper?

he also has a 02 that has 79k on it and i'm trying to get him to sell me the gauge cluster and not make me do anything to prove the miles, lol, hope he does! I will sell it then.

someone on here said that it would go w/ what the cluster has on it, I need to check into that.

the way EVERYTHING is computerized lately, it may just go by your computer in your car and not the previous one, or go to the junk yard in a different car

you can swap out the mileage gauge with your original one

you can swap out the mileage gauge with your original one

Are you serious? I thought the ECU stored the mileage data. So that means if i bought a gauge cluster from an 01 Galant, and put it on my 03...it would show the other persons mileage, and not my actual mileage? :?

Changing the mileage isn't illegal.

But representing an untrue mileage when you sell your vehicle is.

my car had 118K i think, so that would never work. If the mileage was close to 118k on the new one you could pull it off, you say it messed up and you couldn't drive it for a long time. But i don't think i'll ever sell my G
