Looks like Mitsubishi has gone back to the "SHARK" nose from the 8g Galant. Apparently, the "pointed" look of the 9g galant and 04-06 lancer didnt sell as well. Personally i LOVE the new shark nose on the new lancer a LOT more!! What do you all think?

i'd hate to be the neddle in the haystack but this would be consider a repost...they evo and the lancer have already been discused in the other forum..other pictures...but yes it give it a mean look to it and a meaner stance,,,

From what I have been reading about the Evo X, its definitely evolved. Its alot more structurally rigid, the AYC is insanely effective, and the new 4B11 performs like the good ol' 4G63, but with better refinement. All the specials characteristics the Evo 8 & 9 MR (aluminum roof and panels, etc etc) are stock on base model Evo X GSR models and then some.

The 4B11 shares the basic structures of the 4B11 in the current Lancer, but is specially engineered for the forced induction. The crank is still forged and the rods are forged along with floating rod pins for less friction. More a little bit more power than the Evo XI MIVIC 4G63, 295 hp / 300 lb trq. The motor is well engineered that balance shafts are no longer.

The more and more I read about the car, the more I want to buy it. The only thing steering me away is the potential price tag of $40,000. :? I am planning to buy a Evo next year...right now I am deciding on a Evo XI or a Evo X.

This is a great article about the Evo X. Funny that the previous Evo is quicker than the new X in the straight. I am like you, this weekend I am going to look at the IX and make my decision if I want to wait for the X.
