Fed Spec vs. Cali?

Crashed my 2000, it was cali spec i know for sure. Now i got a 2000 with 77k miles. It's fed spec cause i can tell of the exhuast manifold.

Now, what are the differences?

the difference is no pre-cats on the fed-spec, thats it.

so that means? more hp? freer flowing

i noticed when the engine started up, the exhuast was notably louder than my 2001

a few more HP, but only like 5-7hp more. The exhaust will probably be louder due to less restriction. Though it shouldn't be much louder, if at all.
