I'm new here, and I love my G! I've had it for about a year and now its time to make it nice. I'm going to do my rims first, 19's. Then I'll lower it. First I want some advice on rims. What Do you guys think of these. Sow them on ebay for Appx: $900 new, shipped, mounted and balanced.

What do you all think?

I like the first set of rims the best. It's true though.. depends on what color your car is.

IMHO the third ones are the nicest set... they have the lug cover and don't show a zillion holes like the others... i don't really like the wheels that have a universal fit because the extra holes in the wheel look really, well, ugly

I have ADR's with lug covers on my minivan and....I hate them.

Well, it's just my personal opinion, those covers are so annoying. You need to remove them whenever you need to remove the wheels. And over time, those covers tend to loosen up. You have to figure out how to make them secure and not fall off.

I like the first set. The multiple holes doesn't bother me on 5 spoke rims really. I have the same deal with both sets of wheels I have. 5 lug and 5 spoke seem to balance out well, even with multiple bolt patterns. A lot of people like the style of #3 but I really have never liked that style at all.

Also if you guys have any suggestions about other rims (19's) please let me know.
I'm looking to buy within the next month.

Thanks

I had 19s last year.. they were "SSW Eclipse" awesome wheels and they aren't too much more than what you're looking at... in hyperblack

you can also go to sites like http://www.wheelmax.com http://www.wheelsnext.com and do a 19" package search... they are really reasonable and have great customer service

is it just me or does the third set look like our stock hubcaps?

I say the first one as a first choice on a silver g. depends on what color you are going with over all though but yeah if anything pick the second one as a backup.

I like both 1 and 2 but it does depend on the color of the car. When i'm shopping for wheels. looks are one thing but you have to be able to clean the damn things once they get dirty. Multispoke wheels are a pain to clean if you clean your car like i do. 8)

...oooh, i think these are HOT especially if the car was a darker color and dropped really low! I think the would also look 2wice as good as 22''s on an SUV...

Yes
They make them in 17" - 22".

I'm putting 19" with some low profile tyres, on my dark purple 99 Galant VR4 then lower it to sit as close as I can to the wheels without it rubbing .
