URGENT TRAVEL QUESTION - Bug, Tar, and Stone protectant!

Anyone know the name of this kind of clear rubberised protectant that washes off w/ soap and water? I need it for the Quest for the trip to Mich. or I'm blue taping her :P

I was thinking a blue flame deal for it but I may not even have the time to do that if I can't get the car back tonight.

here they have this claear viynl. you get it done at tinting places. they put it on the hood and bumper. you can't even tell it's there.

it's permanent if you wanted it but you can also take it off.

are you gonna cover the hood too? i would assume you would. but yea, i'd ask your body shop what would be safe on that fresh paint.

i ruined the paintjob on my freshly painted hood (don't ask how) and that sucked.

i think im gonna blue tape my car... im too cheap to buy the spray on stuff...

im driving from pocono lake, Pa... to bel air, Md... about 3 and a half hours...
