Your battery and alternator okay?

batt and alternator won't cause a stall

all the belts okay? timing?

all sensors good? maybe something came loose

my friend thinks it might be the starter...
can it be the starter??

I don't think the starter would cause the car to stall.

I'm guessing the wheezing was the a/c... Reason why I asked about the battery and alternator because I once had a problem where the my car stalled when I turned off the a/c, ended up being that my battery was very weak... first time it died, had no power, the got a jump, started up, then it stalled, it would start up and cut right back off or tried to cut off in idle, and turning on the a/c made the car run fine....but it's the opposite of what happened for you..

see but the car when started relies on the alternator. bad battery doesn't make it stall. A/C is very draining, if your idle air controller isn't working good then the car stalls.

Yeah, I guess, after the battery recharged everything was fine though. But it looks like a different problem with his car

have someone watch your engine bay when the car is running and you turn the AC on... watch the belts... and of course did you try to jump it or charge the battery??
