Headlight questions

just been really curios. can i use my H4 bulb to replace my h7 on my jdm heads? what you all think of this? so when i go hit my bright, i got both of my beams working. what you all think?anybody done this? also i was thinking of replacing my h1 to the bulb i have on my stock foglights. would this work? thanks for any suggestions and flamings! :wink:

sue it would but you would have to adapt the hole to accept whatever size bulb you are putting in...but why would you need 2 sets of high beams? if im interpereting you correctlly you want the h1 high and the second fillament to turn on with the h4's right? why not just go with hids or something and wire your highs and lows to turn n together when you hit your highs?

ain't got the cash for hid right now, so i'm trying to use my resources. i haven't really looked at it cause i'm still at work, but would i have to retro fit the bulb's brackets?

yeah H7 is smaller than H4, it would take a little bit of work to make it fit, same thing with teh 883s and the H1s its gonna take cutting to make it fit, not worth it IMO

you can probably get the H4 to fit, granted its bigger than an h7, but if i take a dremel, u could get it to fit

BUT even after u do all that, u still got the issue of holding the bulb down

yeah i've thought about it over night. not in my priorities. maybe on my day off i'll give it a try. post pics if i do get it done.
