Last week I installed an FPR everything was running fine until yesturday, I backed into a driveway which is uphill. At that exact moment the car died, check a few things..battery is fine, all levels are fine. When tryin to crank it wont turn over. Even the FPR gauges reads 0. First thing this after noon Im going to put the stock fpr on to check on that. My question being I have noticed that the fuel filter is intake on top of the fuel pump, has anyone already done this and is it as tedious as it sounds? Or is it anything that Im overlooking?

Chip said he kept his oem fpr and used the new one. I dunno? Why don't you pm Chip?

the v6 uses a second fpr. on the i4 you replace the oem one. anyways, good luck finding chip, he's in florida remember?

the fuel filter is not replacable, nor should it need to be replaced.
and im not sure what pinoy is talking about with a 2nd fuel regulator on the v6s.

im talking about aftermarket here. benard with ur car you took out the OEM FPR and replaced it with the new aftermarket one. With chip's car and other v6's, they don't replace the oem FPR, you just add on a second one...

ok, this is the second time I have heard the fuel filter should never have to be changed. I did notice in the service manual something about a Fuel cut off valve being in place on the 8g, could the car think it was in a collision when I backed into the driveway? now that I think about it the front of the frame did smack the ground and in that instance the car died. How do you reset that fuel cut off valve?

Now if thats the case I was looking into msd's fuel pump something like thishttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=1874715924 ('http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6764&item=1874715924') But unfortunatly on the main site it says this pump is out of tank https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif Someone mentioned the Walboro 255 so far thats the better intank I have found, yes/no?
