OBX Header who's got it? How was the fitment? How do you like it, and is it worth the $200

ive heard them and they are pretty raspy and you will have to have your exhaust fitted for them they are not a direct fitment, i had kamikaze headers on my old i4 they sounded nice and bolted right up but the gains were small, rpw makes a nice set, dc also makes some, there are a lot of better options for headers

OBX had recently set up new headers for the 8gen 4cyl Galant. I have a picture somewhere but you can buy them from ebay for 169 plus shipping.

This is the website:

When you get the headers installed usually you need to get your car tuned in order to see some difference. Sometimes it is obvious and you feel it though, but still a tune would get the best performance out of them. Also some have experienced raspyness with the install, so it is a good idea to add a resonator on your current (stock or not) exhaust system to dampen the sound down.

ok I actually have the long tube one on the i4. the bottom one on the pictures. I feel a difference in the second gear and after 80 mph. the car feels like it will keep accelerating pass 120, but I can't afford anymore tickets so I let go a 85. It's raspy as hell. I got people telling me that I sound like a UPS truck now. But overall I like it. I would buy it again. It bolted right on. b19 had to move my radiator so he could get the header bolted on to the engine but other than that it was a great easy fitment. that's just my 2 cents.

ive got the 4-2-1 obx headers and it sounded like a giant bumble bee at first. u can put a muffler in the middle of ur echaust pipng though. thats what i did and now theres no rasp. it restricts a little air flow though

For the guys that Have OBX or DC Headers, do get a hard time from the SMOG place or do these Headers come with the CARB Sticker?

I've looked around on some websites on none say that they come with the stickers, I know the kamikaze and the RIPP headers are not street legal.
