I've got a 97 Galant with the factory alarm/keyless entry. A few days ago I noticed that it stopped chirping when I used the remote to lock and unlock the doors (the lights still flash though). When I unlock the doors and after I get out and before I lock it, it chirps every 4-5 seconds. I just bought the car used a few weeks ago and don't know much about the car's history. Everything else seems to be working fine. If anybody has advice, I'd appreciate any help.
