Just finished it today.. Best system I've had..

Subs are Alpine 12'' Type X..
Box is a custom made ported competition box 1'' MDF..
Amp is an SSL 4000.1 Amp..
Cap is a Lightning Audio 1.2 Farad Cap...

I'll put up a video later in the week...

daaaaaaamn nice work. I bet your roof panel flexes. Good thing u went with 1", Ive seen those tear apart too many boxes.

seeing would be nice, but hearing would be better. I got 2 Alpine Type-R's and i think they're amazing, i can only imagine the Type X's!! Looks really good man!

Yeah when they bump its like a 100 shot of nos.. haha.. I had the Type-R's in there with a beat up box.. I only got the Type-R's because I couldn't afford the Type-X at the time.. So now I'm good.. Until a few years from now when I get two JL12W7's.. I have an extra set of Type-R's just chillen in my garage now..

nice, do you have the box pulled all the way close to the trunk lid like that or is it that big? I got 4 10" subs in my trunk but still have some space left over

It is all the way back... Hitting the back seat.. It's a really big box.. I think I'm going infinity kappas for the interior..
