I want to replace my rear drums with disc brakes, I've got a brembo brake kit from an evo. The front one's are already on, just trying to figure out how to do the rear brake conversion. Could use some help??

For the rears, you will need new brake lines, and just the backing hubs that the calipers attach onto. Youre ging to either have to use evo rear brake lines or make custom ones since the rears are banjo bolts and the galant rears are not. The problem with brembo lines are that they have a 90 degree bend at the end where it meets the body but on the galant, the stock steel line is already bent 90 degrees. Now youre left with a funky path the brake lines will travel. not to mention the evo lines are like 2" longer.

I've asked about that, one mechanic told me that my whole rear assembly might have to be changed out. Is that true??
