Thanks guys, still learning and that Wacom tablet is really helping out alot.

BTW I'm using Illustrator CS3

How long does one take?Depends on how detailed I do them. Usually about 3-4 hrs. The cat I did in about an hour.

so how does it start? you import a pic then the program turns it to a cartoon then you edit?

so how does it start? you import a pic then the program turns it to a cartoon then you edit?I open the pic in illustrator and then I dim layer about 50%, then I make a new layer and use the pen tool to trace the outlines. Illustrator CS3 has a feature called Live Trace that can trace the photo for you, but I trace and color everything myself

yoooo get at me when u wanna do one of those for ya boooyyyPost or email me a pic and I'll give it a go. Practice makes perfect so I try to do a little drawing everyday after work.

This is why I'm not on the boards as much :lol:
