power mirrors on a DE

I've been thinking of replacing my manual mirrors with power. I started to inpect the wiring the doors have the harness to plug in the mirrors but when I inspected the were the switch would go and didn't see any harness in there. I started to suspect that the summa ma b**ches that installed my alarm cut the harness and used the the wires for the alarm. Can anybody please let me know if there was a harness there before or not.

Also if anybody has info on doing this conversion and can point me in the right path. Thanks in advance

remove the panel where the switch would go and look around. many time with extra harnesses they'll just tuck them somewhere in the dash so its not in the way.
