i thought about welding the 2 rear doors on my stratus when i had it and built a fully custom fuberglassed system in the back seat and take the rear seats out but that was just a dream

It would be interesting to take a galant that was hit and totalled in the rear, cut off the assend then take a galant that hit someone and cut the front off, then weld the two up on a frame jig to make the wheelbase shorter, then just weld in a panel instead of a rear door. Simple right.

i think that would look kinda weird since the two front doors would look all short and getting into the back seat would be almost impossible.

i think if you were to take like the front end of a galant, and the rear end of the galant and connect those with like the middle section of like a stratus then you might have a more feasible 2 door galant.

I like it, I wonder how much it would cost to do this.

If you do what 6g72gearhead said and just extend the front door, it would look ok. Would need custom glass though for the front windows/b-pillar windows though. They did this to an Evo and it looked sweet/weird at the same time.

But they didnt extend the front door at all, probably why it looks odd.
