the 95 to 97 eclipse engines were different UNLESS you had a 2.4 liter eclipse spyder.
its the only one thats the same (or i should say basically the same. it is not 100 percent identical).

yes, they are all an inline 4 cylinder.

From what I see in the pic.... I could make that work.

Basically, that Injen peice would be thrown out though.. not worth it IMO

ok tnx I was just wondering if 97 galants had same 2.4L engines as '97 Eclipses ........ lol sorry I'm still learning ........
it seems to me that alot of people use perfomance parts from different cars ....... some parts are universal and some are ...... fabricated ...... to fit their cars ....... any ideas there?

the only 2.4L eclipse is the spyder GS (non-turbo).

But you can use a lot of parts for a 2.0 turbo on our cars. All of the intake and exhaust manifolds bolt up, the intakes fit as long as you can get the right angle of pipe and move your battery out of the way a little, and there are lots of other parts that can be fitted on.

Any header from a 91-94 eclipse, laser, or talon that did not have a turbo (models are GS and RS for eclipse and ESI for the Talons). If you buy a header made for those cars (which is a 4g63 non-turbo), it'll work with our cars.
