stock paint question

i am having problems with my stock paint starting to chip on the hood and the drivers side pillar. now if gets hit by some debris on the freeway or something doesnt the factory paint have some kind of clear coat guard or something. what should i do. i dont know why it is chipping. i dont want it to start rusting and then im really screwed.

Have no worries.....I see you have a pretty new G....Just save your hassle and bring it back to the dealers because you are covered under warranty for body paint corrosion......

the clear coat isn't there to protect from road debris. its fairly thin to do that. uhm i don't think the warranty covers road debris and stuff like that either. uhm the best thing u can do is take it to the dealer first and try to get it fixed under warranty. but usually that doens't work so just get a bottle of touch up and touch it up
