Hey,guys. Im trying to get a pcv valve for my 2.4 but everywhere that I go, they want to give me this plastic dohicky instead of the stock one that threads into the valve cover. Is this a dealer specific part?

weird, mine is plastic, it doesnt thread in, neither does any of the other ones i've seen

I have never seen one that threads in. Maybe you think it threads in because you gotta twist it to get it out, but im almost certain it doesnt thread in. I know for sure the one on my EVO valve cover does not thread in.

hey diaz go to the dealer, you can get there for the same price and is a oem part.

Thanks for the help guys. I ve only eyeballed it recently due to my hectic work schedule but I thought that it was threaded. Ill do some further investigating.

they are threaded I bought mine at advance auto parts

No it isn't. I've messed with it enought to know.
