In may of this year I have installed a complete kit from EBC: discs perforated, and green stuff brakes. They didnt't last that long: the front discs were cracking from the perforated holes. I did go back to the garage that has installed them. They thought it was strange that it broke down so quick. I must say that Im a Autobahn-driver, and i use the brakes very often and hard. EBC said that its my way of drving that couses the troubles, but i think its bullshit. That stuff is much better then original. The installer agreed with my, and i have now new discs and Red Stuff brakes! https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif

Are there more people who has (had) EBC discs? And do you have trouble with it too?

i think anyone with a galant should bite the bullit and get aftermarket discs. the stock brakes on any year galant are beyond terrible

A while back, I did a group-purchase for DBA "long life gold" slotted/cross-drilled rotors.

they were one-piece, non-directional heavy-mass rotors, Which have held up to even *MY* racing/city Driving.

In fact, I'm not Sure I've heard any of the 25+ members mention early wear/fatigue.

I'd swear by them. although we had some trouble getting the initial order Straight, they did come through, and even offered metal master? pads @ a great price for All that ordered as a consolation.

have a look @ their line-up..

I had the green stuff. Seemed to work fine for me.

But you should have started with the Red stuff, if you use your brakes that hard, the green is low dust, more tuned for normal driving.

Still have stock rotors, no trouble with them yet (93K miles).

I dont know anything about your brakes but I have the same brake pads on my rears. They are holding up fine. They needed some "break in" time of about 300 miles so you dont burn em up.

I would love to drive on the autobahn sometime, I think that would just kick ass, especially on a nice rainy day.
