New member here. I don't own a galant but I have a buddy that has a 6th Generation turbocharged galant. Maybe he's on here? My cousin is on here (7GProject_4G64) we took pics of our cars at Lake Rebecca in Hastings, Minnesota. Here's a couple of the Zed :D Don't get me wrong though Galants are some real nice cars. If only his 7G had some more aftermarket support >:(

Thanks, sometimes 300zxclub.com gets a little dead. So I have to find other forums to read up on about cars. Since I know 2 people that have galants I figured I could engage in better converstions with those 2 people if I knew a little about the galant myself :D

Is he able to travel across states for one? There's actually one here in minnesota for $6300 a Twin Turbo 1992. haha just make sure he doesn't get a 2+2 like me. But what can I say I like having 3 chicks (instead of 1) in my car :lol:

No doubt on that one Kolio, just browsing the 7G section I could see things like "Dohc swap" and links to turbo kits for them. I'm kinda envious his bay has so much more room than the Zs lol

thanks xgalant btw I'm a huge fan of Volvos :D my dad owns a 95 850 GLT and I was hoping to get a S40(04-05 maybe?) sometime down the road. Very stylish cars with performance too <3 Volvos

Lol I doubt he's willing to travel to MN. There was a TT model for $3000 here, but I don't know if he ever spoke to the guy like he said he would. It's all up to him.

Any details on that $3000 TT? It's a complete steal if it's in good condition. But then again like all turbo cars it HAS to have been beaten on :(

I'm planning so much things but I'm not sure if it'll be around. Once I get done with college I MAY sell it to get a TT. But then again I might keep it a nd do a TT and Manual swap. TTs never came in a 2+2 and if I do both of those swaps i'll spend around the same amount I would if I sold my Z and searched for a TT.

7g's do have aftermarket support when it comes to powertrain, drivetrain and suspension...you just have to look up 2g Eclipse/Talon applications.

Now when it comes to exterior and interior, thats a different story. That is where you can be innovative and set yourself apart from the rest with these cars. :smt002

I would honestly go for the S60R but I kinda grew attatched to the S40 it looks so nicely all around :D

I wish I knew how to edit photos to make them come out like that. I just use my raw shots and add filters to them :(

Will do, I don't know if the guy will hold the car for him since he needs to save a couple more $$ before he can officially pick it up lol. I'm just highly upset that he'll be blowing me out the water before my turbo project even officially goes into play. :lol:
