I looked but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I want to know what cars are similer to the galant in terms of the frame. I'm thinking about trying to alter a body kit to fit but it'd be nice to start with something that's close.

Unibody cars don't have a frame... what exactly do you mean? There are plenty of cars with similar dimensions. Just look around - common sense.
It's probably easier for you to modify a Galant kit to get the "look" you desire. Nothing else is going to have the correct curves or the exact dimensions. Sounds like you really don't know what you want.

www.edmunds.com lists the width, length, and wheelbase of all cars. Just do some searching.

What happened to encouraging fellow members to take their galants to the next level?

x2 Back in the days of my 90 Camry, i was dreaming of doing a R34 Skyline conversion on my grandfathers 00 Maxima. The dimensions are mostly the same. I was so close, yet i chose to buy my Galant. :P

^yeah. that's the style Mitsubishi basically copied when designing the 8G galant.
not a bad car to copy from either.

Terrible car to copy, glad Mitsubishi made it look 3x better. New 3 series looks like garbage too with that high beltline nonsense.

how's it terrible? you obviously have an 8G, and apparantly like way it looks because u have one in ur sig. and what the new 3 series looks like now is irrelevant.
the Galants now look 3x uglier. bulky horrible looking bodies that imitate the new Maxima. :?

Heres the measurements of the Galant
68.5 inches Galant
68.5 inches BMW 330i sedan
69.2 inches BMW 3series coupe
The measurements of the 03 BMW 330i is the same. Obviously there will need to be some kind of fab done on and around the headlights. But hey, whats custom that doesnt cost $$$?
