hey, im looking for a GTZ style factory spoiler for my 01 G. I went to the Mitsu dealer and they want to charge me $400 for everything ( $300 for the painted spoiler, $100 for the installation). What websites offer the best factory spoilers for a reasonable price?

I checked spoiler depot a while back and it seemed like a good website to buy from...

my major concern is quality (i dont want the thing to crack on me in a couple years or bulbs in the brake light go out too soon)

okay, i found a gtz spoiler for my G but does anyone know where i can get an installation template to install it myself?

you should get one when you buy the spoiler. if not you're gonna have to make one yourself out of some cardboard or something.

I got my spoiler (non-GTZ or Mitsubishi) at www.spoilerdepot.com - they even painted it to match my color (Patriot Red). Price was pretty cheap, too.

off ebay you can get it painted for about $80-$110 it should come with the template its easy to install takes a few minutes and a drill, and if you want to wire up the 3rd brake light it will take a few more but still easy

Is your car nothstar white or dover white pearl?? I can see if I can find you one but it's hard to find it painted and same color.

Yes they will match it exactly because they use a code from factory that is only for that specific color, cant get it wrong. Yours is white too, not to picky so it should come out great. Hey! it's better then 700 bucks right?? or whatever the dealer wanted.

Hey Raz is your spoiler all shiny and stuff? When my mom got the car back in 99 it didnt come with the spoiler, so the dealer installed one after she bought it, but its like white plastic, not painted white. And its all dull and crap :?

plus one side is loose and its like impossible to take off the spoiler now :x

^^^ I had to use my imagination when I installed mine. I used a clay bar on it then I used a wax cleaner and then waxet with Meguiars NXT.

If they did painted then it just needs to be sanded down really good, apply couple of coats of base coat and 2 coats of clear. That will make it nice and shiny.

the unpainted ones ive seen in pics have like a dull light greyish color... but i think yours was just primered, im not sure tho...
