Hi!

My engine is struggling at low rpm`s.
It is not running clean under 3000rpm, over is no problem.

I have changed;
Sparkplugs (platina)
Airfilter (superflow)
Oilfilter
Oil

I have also sandpapered the contactpoint on the rotor and the cap that goes over the rotor.

But still no results.
I took it to my local dealer too look for error codes, but none were found.

Some ideas?

Are you getting good spark? Might try replacing the spark plug wires. When was the last time the distributor was replaced?

Struggling at low RPM isn't indicative at all of a secondary ignition resistance/interference problem (that includes plugs, wires, rotor, cap). High-RPM missing/sluggishness would point to secondary ignition problems. Poor fuel atomization could cause low RPM problems.

Try a good injector cleaner like RedLine. Never rule out something as simple as faulty injectors. If you're fine at high RPM, it's not a restriction in the fuel system, though...

what work did you do to the car before it started?

have you done anything to your air inlet system? maybe a loose clamp somewhere?
check that the MAF is on tight...

Check PCV valve

I`ve tried without the MAF. Belive me, it`s connected.
The car was this way when I got it this september.

PCV valve?
What is that? (not so familiar with the english terms, care to explain?)

Positive Crankcase Ventilation - it's a check valve/fitting on the valve cover that has a vacuum hose running to the intake manifold. I seriously doubt that would cause low RPM problems. It's for pulling blowby out of the crankcase when you get a lot blowby (high load/RPM).

Do check for vacuum leaks, though. That could be causing your problems. A BROKEN PCV valve could be culprit if it's leaking vacuum to the atmosphere.
