If you mean the fuel-cut rev-limiter and speed fuel-cut, then yes, you can raise both of those.

What file?

i dont have a usb cable. i got a 9 pin for one of them screw ons in the back like a monitor, but it should still at least find it, i can find it on my logger

plus i found the files they are in the drivers but for osme reason the program dont like them or somthing, i hope to get it to work.. and i hope its like an easy quick flash and make the fuel cut go away maby raise the rpm limiter? a little bit?

but god dam i want it to work, thanks for the fast replys

Ummm, all of these programs require the Tactrix cable.

whats queer as hell lol, the 9 pin ones are only for data logging right? on the ecuflash site it says all you need is a obd-II cable, and i got one jsut not usb..

if i get a Tactrix cable, would anyone help me out and give me like a saved file, so i can just upload it, take out the fuel cut and raise the limiter a tad? i rather not do it myself and screw something up, and i wodner how much more hp i can pull out with just tuning, im gonna have to tune the engine im gonan eb working on so wth i might as well get one.

EcuFlash is not going to work with a 2000 Galant.

... if you did your research, you would know that Fed-spec ECU's are not compatible with EcuFlash. And with a 2000 ECU, you definitely have a Fed-spec one.

so ecuflash only works with cali spec ecus?, so that means i cant find a ecu thats not cali spec in fl lol, how in the world and i gonna tune this thing?

What are you talking about? All 2001+ Galants have Cali-spec ECUs. Go read on Club3G for information on that ECU swap - it's very common.

Dude, are you dyslexic or just to lazy to fix your typos

The 2001+ plus thing might not be true for the I4 Galants - you'll need an ECU specifically from a Cali-spec car.

yeah, but i live on the other side of the states you know how hard it would be to find one? if all eclipces are cali spec then i could get one of that right?, but them my key wouldnt work right..

OMG, Cali-spec cars are sold outside of California, trust me. I just found 4 Cali-spec ECUs on car-part.com in Florida. You're being lazy!

anything 2001+ is cali spec and will work there is a cutoff where they changed the processors between 00 and 01 so search for a car from 02 up just to be safe lol

you can read i.e datalog a 00 (fed spec) ecu but you can flash it

WarmAndSCSI mentioned the cali spec this like 3 times lol

Has anyone heard of a cross between cali and fed spec emissions on a galant. When my cat burned out it took the dealer 3 weeks to get the right part in because it wasnt set up how it was supposed to be. They said they had never seen the same emission set up on a galant or eclipse or diamante other than mine. They also thought it was factory as well.
