Does anybody have any information about GVR4's in Europe... I know that there have been imported only 3000 in USA (1991 & 1992)... but I'd like to find one here.

Any ideas?

Thank you fellas! [/b]

i would look for an evo III or higher. same motor, smaller and lighter platform(lancer), better brakes, better handling, more hp.

I have VR-4 1990. with sports seats, and more..(not standart)

on the back doors is written :"Monte carlo racing the spirit of competition"
and pictured the map or rally/

what does it mean?
(The car is imported from Japan)

you may have the rarest of the rare, the galant vr4 monte carlo edition, very few of these cars were made. all i know is that they had the 240 hp motor.

Hey rasko, i found you some VR4's in europe,
but im not sure how far your willing to drive to get your self one, but here are some i found in Holland.
I cant translate the page at all cause i dont know dutch, and it was a bitch to find these cars cause i couldnt read a single thing on the page.
But thats what being apart of TGC is all about, helping each other.
Hope it's what your looking for.
If you need help again, just holler, and
i will help ya find something else.
If you look at the second pic to the bottom,
you'll see a Galant GTI,
i've never seen a GTI, nor can i read the page,
so i could tell you what it has on it.
but if it's turbo charged, i think it might be a vr4, i dunno.

Thank You Alister... But GTi-s are standard in Europe... They have 4g63 DOHC in int, but they aren't turbocharged... They have 150 horsepower, 4WS, AWD and AC (despite from my 2.0 SOHC 1991) - These models are not rare here in Europe... Even in my small country - Slovenia there are few (about 5 or 6), but none of them is nice enough for me...

I'll keep looking for VR4...

and Alister - thanks for your help again.

no problem man, anytime, i did see quite a few vr4's in England if you feel like taking a plane ride over there and shipping one back.

I don't think I'd like having steering wheel on the right side of the car...

That would feel strange...

But in a joke... VR4 is a steel a VR4... It deserves its RESPECT 8)
