ok i need to replace the precat on my g. i was hoping to replace it with this

on the add it says its for cali spec, but i have fed spec. my question is that on both specs is this cat the same? it looks the same as mine, it even has the angle in it. cause i know that cali spec has two precats i was just wondering

if you truly have a fed spec then you don't have a pre-cat at all.

Thats a pre-cat that seats right under the exhaust manifold.
From the looks of your taillights, you have a Calispec, 02 and 03 were cali spec. 99 to 01 were fed. I believe.
This is a Fed Spec with only one cat.

actually mine is a 99, i just liked the 03 tails better

i was just confused on cali and fed spec because theres an 01 de in my yard that has one right behind the radiator and mine is at the bottom of the front

well its going in tomorrow to get the radiator replaced, a new thermostat, the tranny flushed and the new cat installed. i overnighted this one and it will be here tomorrow morning

Well looks like you have a Cali spec for a 99 model. Also migt want to replace your valve cover gasket..lol

cali spec V6's have 2 precats and 1 main cat; cali spec I4's have 1 pre cat and 1 main cat.

it didnt get here till 5 so im gonna bring it to the shop tomorrow morning. i will probably have my car back by the afternoon

got my car back thursday. so far so good no check engine light :smt023
