er ..... Im interested in the piping size ...... usualy people do 2.5" ..... since most exhaust have a 2.5" inlet ......

well i probably would not go any higher than 2.5" unless you are turboed or are going to add a turbo. i still have my stock 2.25" piping. my muffler is 2.5" inlet and he just custom bent a pipe to fit

I have 2.5 cat back to my 3A Racing dual tip. I felt a difference but it's worthless until I get the headers and high flow cat and the ****** :wink:

I've been told that the 7g exhaust system is actually pretty good (non-cali specs) but the muffler is just stuffed to the brim. The best thing to do is get a straight thru muffler.

so should custom piping be welded on or is the stock one OK?
I mean, alot of people say that custom strait piping allows for a better flow ........ so then how strait is Galant's piping(any1 got a pic?)

tnx

you realize that 125mm is like 5"?

that's your Tip.. not inlet =0]

when I had the 2.4L, I used 60mm mandrel HKS Hiper Cat-back (slightly modified)

perfect For 2.4L. with The Stock downpipe/catcon

worth its Weight in gold when mated To a 2.5" mandrel downpipe, and hi-flow Cat.

but, if you don't have access to the 60mm...2.5" is good just don't get a shitty muffler... it Will sound like Crap.

I promise

cat-back From a 95+ FWD turbo

slichtly modified to Work onthe galant (3" of pipe removed, and an extra bend Added)

the Catback is Still the 60mm

the turbo-> cat is 2.5" which is a 2.5" hi-flow Catcon

The Galant piping is reasonably straight, and even mandrel bent from the factory. Quite nice actually.

I recommend Remus! I have a DTM style with 2.5" pipng from the cat back and it sounds great. Not too loud when cruising and very noticeable when flooring it. Basically it is loud as hell but like I said only when you are laying on it. As far as the mufflers are concerned they run anywhere from 150-500 bucks. I got mine for 300 and my piping was custom done for 275. All in all I am pleased as hell with the remus, it is my second one!
