Flashing A/C (Snowflake) when the A/C isn't on

I've complained before about my A/C light flashing in the summer when I tried to use the A/C & it dies out after about 5-10 minutes of use. Never found the problem.

However, yesterday during my drive in the snow, the A/C light started flashing when I just had the heat going. Anyone ever have that problem?

I think my A/C light flashing during the summer & now the winter are related.

Loose ground maybe? Have you tired pulling out the AC and see if everthing looks ok in the back?

no that usually indicates a problem when it flashes, mine did it and i needed to replace a few ac lines...when you turn on your heat though you can push out the ac button it doesnt have to be in...i can also mean other things that are wrong with the ac not just the lines you would pretty much have to take it to someone to get diagnosed if your not sure what it is
