So I did a search and Im confused. What is the use of this module? I read that some guys didnt install it and their JDM mirrors work.

thanks in advance

just need to hook it up to a 12v power source to fold and connect the wiring from the old mirror for the movements

I dont have much experience with JDM mirrors, but.....

Maybe the stock relay is used so that the mirros automatically fold in when the car is not running. Judging by the five wires it looks like a single pole double throw type relay. Essentially is has one terminal to fold in and one to fold out. This is all just and educated guess, like I said I dont know much about JDM mirrors. Check out this link for more info about relays. With this info you should also be able to use a multimeter and check the relay to make sure it works and how it works. Also if you need to buy a generic relay like this, Radio Shack for like $3.

All you really need to make them work is a small generic relay and a a toggle switch.

even if someone figures out how that box works I don't think its worth putting it on. I tried different scenarios and could not make it do anything and funny thing is that in the wiring diagram I received it does not mention it and this is from the service manual that toru sent me. Now back to why I don't think its worth it, the motor can only last so long, so I say if you need to close it hit the switch, and save the motor life when turning the car on and off so it can open a close, unless you got money to burn and get a new set everytime the motor blows. also once it if fully closed the switch does not continue to run the motor it will stop.

thanks for the input guys.

Stewi, I think you maybe on to somthing there.

And good point Dominicano. I've been thinking about that automatic folding with alarm/ignition and overall life of the motor.
