somewhere i read that it's De3175 but on some sites it doesnt come out as that, but it comes out as for example ( 12 LEDs .75" x 2.5" LED Dome Light, Or 16 LEDs 1.25" x 1.25" LED Dome Light)

Which one is the correct size?
thanks in advance.

there is a bulb list on the site, i would check...but you will need to solder on any aftermarket one, or just wire up a few leds and solder them

it sounds like you don't know the answer also...

but yea,

autolumination makes bulbs that look like they will just pop into the galant's factory dome light

but the cheapest is like 8 bucks each. you'll need two of them so 16 bucks. then shipping.

when it comes to the dimensions of the led bulb for the dome light the biggest thing would be to measure between the two hooks. you want that to be as close to factory. the width isn't as important but the LED array should be small enough to fit inside of the dome light itself.

the more LED's the better. there are some bulbs that have better led's than some. and in that case, a couple of nice led's might actually be better than a bunch of crappy led's. it all depends on the specs of the led's

i built my own LED array like this one

i dont think that one i posted will efficiently fit into the galant's dome light but yea, to fit that kind of led "bulb" or any kind of aftermarket one, you would have to have wires that connect the bulb to the dome light and to efficiently hold those wires onto the dome light, you would solder (you can get that at radio shack) and a soldering iron (it makes the solder hot) and practially fuse the wire and the terminals on the dome light together using the solder.

and just to be a showoff, these are my dome lights

did you have to put resistors for that or did you just wire the LEDs?
