Diamante Steering Wheel Swap Question

I'm planning on blacking out my tan interior soon. So that means... I need to get rid of my tan steering wheel. I'm not too keen on after market steering wheels or ones without an airbag. Today I saw a 2g Diamante (1997-2004) steering wheel that was black in color. Has any swapped this steering wheel into their 8gs or have any info about whether or not this steering can be easily swapped and wired up? I also noticed that the steering wheel is equipped with optional radio controls. Here's a pic of the Diamante steering wheel:

not sure but we do know that the 3g wheel will fit if you just want a black one

I have seen other 8gs here in vegas that did a swap with a Diamonte. They said the wirings are the same....

I'll keep the 3g steering wheel in mind. The Diamante one I saw yesterday looking a little larger than the one on the 8g. Anyone have any info on the diameters of the 3 or are they all the same size? I might go back to that yard I saw that steering wheel and get it to test it out if the price isn't too steep. That would be really sweet if you could wire up the radio controls on the steering wheel to the 8g

Somebody said the wiring was the same already. I'm 90% sure the wheel will physically bolt up.

I swapped the 3g Eclipse wheel onto mine. Its a direct fit.

Theres alot of 3g Eclipse steering wheels that do have the radio controls. There on the back of the wheel.

I believe it only the 03-05 GTS that have the radio controls

actually im thinking all the 3g Eclipses that has the infinity sound system has them.
Both of my friends 00 and 01 eclipse GS had them, along with my 03 GTS
