Ive been starting to like the matte paint jobs, what do you guys think about it on an 8G? Im debating whether or not to go with it on my next paint job. Since the black cancer has struck badly!!

Here are some pics of other cars with it.

I'd do it. No doubt

I really, really like them on exotics and track cars, but I'm not sure if a Galant could pull it off.

matte really does look great,

but be warned, paint maintenance is very very different than for your typical gloss enamels or clear coat paints.

little things like rock chips become a terrible pain in the ass

i agree. the matte finish on that lambo makes it look stealth like

That's the Reventon. I think it was designed to look sort of like a F-117.

Yeah, definitely that too. Any way, the idea was to give it stealth-like angles... I think it's pretty cool, albeit expensive.

why not just use a matte clear coat to protect the paint?

^^ I think that's actually what they do on the cars in the pictures.

Pretty sure a galant could pull of a semi gloss, but not a full blown flat.

I really like chalboard paint. It actually can look pretty good, and when your bored its great fun, then washes off.

the matte paint works on dramatic cars meaning very low, huge wheels and body kits etc... those pieces let people kow the paint is supposed to look like this. if you do it on a lightly modded 4 door, it will look like ur riding around primered.

honestly i think i would look tight but i would make a 2 tone flat like black and grey or black and white but yeah i think it would look sick on ur ride

if you want to keep that look, they can put a NON glossy clear coat over it to protect it, im sure they wouldnt just leave it that way without a protective coat after you pay all that money
