i usually just let the carwash shine my tires up... but alot of guys swear by this:

plus one of the owners is an OG TGC member. i personally haven't used it but it's supposed to be really good and doesn't drip/spit.

Whatever tireshine you bu, be sure not to spray too much of it onto your wheels...BECAUSE WHEN YOU DRIVE IT WILL BE THROWN ONTO YOUR FENDERS. I usually spray some onto a cloth, and then wipe my wheels with it. Ill then let it dry for about 10 minutes, and then apply another coat. After that, i then let it dry for about 20 minutes. Its always good to make sure you lets that stuff dry, because it will leave nice lovely grease spots all on your fenders :P

Yup Megs does a really nice job at complimenting the tires, Clean tires seems to always make the car stand out so much better than dirty ones. Always remember to clean your tires first!!! :D

I've always used Eagle One Wet Tire Shine with great results.

I've also used a product called Zep Tireless Shine. It gets used up quick, but works great.

The reason your tires are brown is because you still have too much dirt on the tires. You need to scrub those tires with a good solution, then I would also recommend using the Meguiars in the spray bottle. And buy the Eagle One sponge wipes, they're pretty much just a gray sponge that works great. Applies better than a towel and doesnt soak up all your "tire shine" like a towel does. Try that...

Just use one of those sponges that you clean your dishes with, you wont get your wheels ever again.

I use this stuff:

http://marinerv.meguiars.com/products/product_images/product_g13815.jpg

Has a dial to adjust the spray nozzle for either high/medium/low profile tire to spray the tire shine accurately and not getting it on the wheel or fenders. I let my sit for a bit and drive the car and doesn't splatter on the fenders. The shine lasts for awhile too...I applied the stuff on my fiance's Endeavor about 2 weeks ago and the tires are still shiny.

What I'm using right now: http://armorall.com/products/view_product.php?product_id=24&main_group=0&category_index=wheel_tire

Was left by somebody at my house, so I use it. Not a bad product.

If you work in a machine shop, grab a hold of some silicon lubricant. Rumor has it tire shine was discovered by some smart guy spraying it on his tires and realizing the marketing value.

I use 2 different tire shine depending how I feel at the time I decide to shine my tires.

I use this Meguires Hot Shine tire shine spray. Its pretty cool because its nozzle has 3 different settings depending on the tire sidewall profile you have which is good if you have low profile tires. The shine is really wet and it lasts for awhile too.

I have been using this stuff on -G-rim since with the wider offset and more aggressive offset..tire shine "spits" all over the sides of my rocker panel and rear bumper. Black Magic Titanium Matte tire shine is what I use..it gives the "shine" of what a brand new tire has and it doesn't "spit".

Does anyone know if Shining Monkey has closed down or something, I ordered some stuff from their site about 2 months ago and have still not received it. They are not replying to emails or answering the phone. Any suggestions?
