Anyone know what the base fp is for the 7g? I am going turbo very soon, with a 2g eclipse ecu swap and don't want to run overly rich. Also, does anone know if a 2g eclipse fpr will fit the galant rail?

2g Eclipse ECU is set for 43.5psi. If you use a 2g ECU you have to do a DOHC headswap, and swap the distributor setup for a coilpack setup.

38psi at idle w/vacuum
47-50psi at idle without/vacuum
(According to Mitchell On-Demand)

Yeah 2g ECU is 43.5psi w/o vacuum, 38psi with vacuum.

I am not doing the dohc swap, but am swapping over to a 4g64 spyder cam sensor setup.....cas housing, cam cylinder (piece that the cas reads).

I was looking for the base fp of the galant, not the 2g eclipse

Ah yeah, I remember, let us know how that goes, will be interesting to see how well it works.

I don't see why it won't run flawlessly. The spyder guys seem to do the ecu swap without a problem. We have the same cam and head as they do, so it "should" all bolt on. Then a little re-wiring

Base fuel pressure on a stock 7g is 47.6 psi.

A 2g turbo FPR will fit on a stock 4g64 fuel rail...thats what I am running on my setup.

You shouldn't need to swap fpr's. I am running the stock one and it works perfectly at 10 psi with 450s.

if you are running a 2g ecu, run a 2g regulator.
you will have the proper base pressure for the stock fuel maps and stock injectors.

you won't need to tune a thing. unless you are running larger injectors

Thats what I was thinking.
