View Full Version : where is the gauge cluster ground??8g

this thread is a mirror image of my problem to make it short the problem is a bad ground to the gauge cluster and i would rather not cut the wire in half and ground it i would rather fix the original ground does anyone have a clue where it is its the black and red wire behind the cluster if im not making sense can some help clear up what im trying to say.thanks!!!

do you other lights like at the ac controls, the radio, the shifter light up also?

the illumination to the cluster grounds at the rheostat. along with all your other dash lights.

no none of my interior lights are working except the radio and all the fuses is fine.

where exactly is the rheostat?i will look it up also

the rheostat is also called the dimmer switch.
