HID Lights

Whats up guys... iv been searchin around for info on HID lights but I was wondering if someone could give me more info on them (where i could order them, how hard are they to install, what kinds are better, ect.) . Anything would help just to get me started. By the way i have an 04. - Doug

did you search this forum? because your questions would have been answered if you did.

the lights are plug and play. buy them on ebay, parts stores, or even off this forum. just get your bulb size you need.

what size are the 9g bulbs? Im gona try and order my HID kits tonight im thinking 8k.

it depends on your headlights.

the projector type has

9006 low
9005 high

and then the reflector type has
9007 hi/low

if you have the factory headlights, what trim model do you have?

or you can just look at the headlight. if there is a reflector in it, its the reflector type. if there is a projector in it, its the projector type.

why do u need the drl disabled?

its causes the hids to flicker when the headlight switch is not turned on causing a quick shortening of bulb life

fucken SOB, i just got my 8000k GT HIDs put in and they didnt disable shit..
is it hard to disable?

mab wire the drls up to the 12v acessory so you still have them?

ya i dont wanna bend the pin so that they completely fucked for good..
supposedly by law we need this shit on.. but ill dont want to kill the HIDs
fast..

u can bend it back...its not permanent
