Smog check question

I just have a question about smog checks I have a 02 galant 2.4L and the only thing I really changed on engine was the intake would this affect my emissions?

well that depends... what state are u in? i assumed CA because we have to do smog checks.

it's all gonna depend on the shop if they care about the intake... but if you have CARB EO sticker the leave the intake alone. the intake shouldn;t affect the smog tho. just make sure you have a clean filter and since u have no other mods you should pass easily.

trick? i wouldn't pass if they didn't do MORE than turn their heads.
